This is so me right now. I've told myself over and over again I will start my healthier lifestyle tomorrow, or next week, next month. But my mantra for the last three weeks has been just get through August. I worked an insane amount of hours. And I have made a solemn promise that all will start changing September 4th. The kids start school and I plan on cleaning the kitchen of any junk food not hastily consumed the night before. :) Good luck to me!

A New Start

I can't believe I haven't posted anything in a whole year! What have I been doing? Starting today, it's back to posting as much as I can. An update of the year...Rob started a new job in September; Aidan started school, along with speech and ot therapy; my sister, Debby, passed away in October; Maddie turned 2; and we've been keeping busy with the kids and work. It's amazing when you try and think of all that has happened you can't come up with much! Anyway, more posts will definitely be coming!

Aidan's 4th Birthday Party

Aidan's cake made by Mommy.

Maddie really enjoyed the cake!

Aidan got a new bike from Mom and Dad. Now we just need to convince him to ride it outside!

April Pictures

Maddie has a night time ritual of having mommy put on all the bibs on the bottom shelf. She loves it! I think we had thirteen on in these pictures. She can barely move her head but she never seems to mind.

Ryan was very excited to be watching his Netflix movie, the fourth Star Wars movie, that he sat Maddie next to him so she could enjoy it too. I think she lasted about five minutes before climbing down.

YaYa was sitting next to Maddie when she was drinking from Culvers. Maddie reached for it so YaYa let her try it. To our surprise to was able to get some out and then took the shake for herself. I can only imagine next time we have one when she's around.

It's rare to get a picture of all three kids, all looking at the camera and all smiling. Aren't they adorable?

I loved how she looked in her overall dress and shoe socks so of course the camera came out!

Cupcakes for Josie!

Jaime wanted to make mini cupcakes for her daughter's 1st birthday. We got together one evening and made five different flavors, 48 of each for the party. (I made more with the leftover batters.) I then decorated all of them. Unfortunately I had to miss the party so I didn't get to see them all displayed. But I heard that everyone loved them!

Easter 2010

We didn't get any good Easter pictures this year. The boys were hard to pin down and when we did, Maddie wanted nothing to do with sitting on the grass!
